ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Ensures service of the best quality is provided to members and guests
  • Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
  • Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties, and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.
  • Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
  • Prepare mixed drinks for service to member’s tables.
  • Properly open and pour wine at the tableside.
  • Filling in for absent staff as needed.
  • Assisting with special events as needed.
  • Reviews inventory of supplies and dry goods regularly and alerts managers when additional supplies are needed.
  • Ensures beverages are securely checked-in and stored and that product is rotated.
  • Assures proper service, productivity and conduct among staff.
  • Provides updates regarding member comments and complaints.
  • Promotes and complies with applicable health, beverage, fire and other laws or requirements.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Golf Cart Attendant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The golf cart attendant works closely with the Assistant and Golf Professional on the outside golf operations to assure a smooth transition for members and their guest around the club. Primary responsibility falls on service to members, efficiency of cart loading, cart cleanliness, staging, and storing. The Cart Attendant must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent service. Must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the Club and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled, if necessary. Cart Attendants must be neat and well-groomed in accordance to The Club at Olde Stone’s standards. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with members at a high-level.
 
DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES
  • It must be recognized that all specific duties cannot be listed and that responsibilities will change accordingly as the need arises.
  • This position will meet and greet all members and their guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner in accordance with all facility policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for daily operations of range ball recovery utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery and equipment.
  • Responsible for the collection of, organization of, and cleanliness of all range baskets used for ball transportation according to policies and procedures established by management.
  • Help keep all working areas attractive, neat and clean free of trash and waste.
  • Responsible for washing the range balls to maintain their cleanliness and usability.
  • Follow procedures for proper opening and closing of the cart and range operations.
  • Keep the outside area uncontested, neat, and clean. Do not allow carts to clog passage area, arrange them neatly after having been used.
  • Inspect the condition of golf carts with specific attention to their cleanliness and appearance.
  • Responsible for cart cleanliness, cart supplies, cart condition and fueling. As well as the rotation of golf carts to ensure uniform usage amongst the fleet.
  • Assist golf shop personnel in the tournament setup of golf carts and range operations.
  • Refer all major problems/complaints to Golf Pro and/or Assistant Golf Pro.
  • Follow procedures in management of the cart.
  • Maintain order and continuity of player traffic.
  • Tracking and reporting the need for supplies necessary for day to day operations of their given areas.
  • Perform other duties as required

Locker Room Attendant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The locker room attendant works closely with the Assistant and Golf Professional on the inside golf operations to assure a smooth transition for members and their guests in the locker room areas. Primary responsibility falls on service to members, maintaining the locker room areas, shining golf shoes, restocking areas, light bartending, and maintaining bar. Must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the Club and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled, if necessary. Locker Room Attendants must be neat and well-groomed in accordance to The Club at Olde Stone’s standards. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with members at a high-level.

  • Refer all major problems/complaints to Golf Pro and/or Assistant Golf Pro.
  • Tracking and reporting the need for supplies necessary for day to day operations of their given areas.
  • Perform other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
  • Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate Member needs to other Team Members.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 70 lbs
  • Ability to Stand 6-8 Hours

Full-Time and Part-Time Line Cook

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

A Line Cook is a person who is in charge of preparing the food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas in the kitchen. He/she is also responsible for cleaning and maintaining the station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills. A Line Cook is working as a team member in a dynamic workplace, and to follow all the safety procedures, and must have a high threshold for heat in a kitchen environment. Associates degree in culinary arts education preferred GED or High School Equivalent required

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Prepares all the food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
  • He/she also follows recipes, controls, portion, and presentation specifications as set by the Executive Chef.
  • Line Cook also assumes 100% responsibility for quality of the products that is served.
  • He/she is also responsible for performing other related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Following proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes is also done by a Line Cook.
  • He/she is also tasked to track and report any food waste.
  •  Line Cook must also handle, store and rotate all the products properly.
  • All Line Cooks are assigned to prepare dishes for costumers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • He/she is responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen.

Dishwasher

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Load, run and unload the dish machine.
  • Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
  • Keep dish room clean and organized.
  • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
  • Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
  • Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Prep assigned items. Measure and assemble ingredients and prepare recipes and menu specifications in accordance to The Club at Olde Stone recipes.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • No previous restaurant experience required.
  • Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long period of time.
  • Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Pool Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities include but are not limited to enforcing policies and procedures, which ensure efficient and effective operation of pool facilities including personnel management and training. Duties involve all swimming pool operations, including first aid, rotations, scheduling for staff, public relations, janitorial duties, limited pool maintenance including daily chemical analysis/testing, pool cleaning, cleaning of bathrooms & concession stand area, swim lessons, and all other duties as necessary or required.  This employee should have excellent organizational, communication, and public relation skills.  This is a working supervisory position requiring weekend and holiday work.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Prefer candidates with significant knowledge and experience in pool management operations.  Training equivalent to high school diploma required.  General management experience preferred.  Must have Lifeguard Training Certification, CPR & First Aid Certification.

Swim Coach

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for the operation of the swim team including organizing, completing assigned tasks, communicating with parents, and working with swimmers.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be CPR certified or willing to get certified
  • Minimum two years coaching experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
  • Competitive swimming
  • Instruction of amateur swimmers
DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervises the swimmers during practices, meets and any other swim periods
  • Teach proper stroke techniques while coaching.
  • Handles all swim meet preparation, including equipment set-up.
  • Assists with the preparation, operation and clean-up of swim meets.
  • Serves as the primary communicator to Pool Manager, Director of Operations, co-workers, parents, and swimmers
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • May need to perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Receptionist

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
As the front of house and often first point of contact for external visitors, the Receptionist is responsible for:
  • Assisting the Food & Beverage Manager with dining reservations.
  • Handling queries and complaints via phone, email and general correspondence
  • Greeting all visitors
  • Transferring calls as necessary
  • Performing ad-hoc administration duties
  • Assisting with mail as required
  • Assisting in all areas

Full-Time Housekeeper

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain a high level of cleanliness in assigned areas. Housekeeping staff will work together to ensure a clean, pleasant and safe club and cottage environment for our members/guest while supporting other staff members as they provide superior service to your members and guest.

Full-Time and Part-Time Maintenance

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintenance staff will work together to ensure a clean, pleasant and safe club and cottage environment for our members/guest while supporting other staff members as they provide superior service to your members and guest.

  • Perform preventative maintenance duties in The Club at Olde Stone in a timely manner
  • Ensure proper documentation of completed preventative maintenance tasks
  • Respond to emergency situations when needed
  • Respond to maintenance requests and resolve in a timely manner
  • Complete maintenance requests submitted by other departments
  • Perform routine pool maintenance and respond to alerts
  • Complete maintenance projects assigned by the Operations Manager or the Club Manager
  • Ensure required inspections are completed on time
  • Help maintain the quality, appearance and safety of the club's exterior and grounds
  • Help maintain and properly use department tools and assets
  • Maintain back of the house areas
  • Represent the club in a professional manner in all interactions with guests, associates, management/ownership and outside vendors.
  • Complete all required staff and department training in a timely manner

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous maintenance experience. Previous hotel, resort or residence maintenance experience preferred
  • An understanding of proper completion of maintenance task
  • An adherence to safety standards in completion of job related tasks
  • An ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • An ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as shown
  • An ability to work in a professional and timely manner in absence of regular supervision
  • An ability to work in a team environment and be a good team player
  • An ability to properly document work completed
